I am a huge fan of science fiction and fantasy novels, they offer a unique escape by taking you to another world, where the impossible is possible. With 'A New Life' Natomi Karkael certainly took me to a new realm, created with such a beautiful imagination. She has created such wonderful vivid landscapes, characters I has real empathy for, and fantastical details, which made for a stunning fantasy that I couldn't put down.

The protagonist Anastari wants to see more of her magical world, but the journey is not easy. Things seem at their worst, when she and her husband are furthest from home. Is it too far away for them to make it back home? Will the danger and tragedy that has been so close, finally catch up to them?

'A New Life' is a really great start to the 'Chronicles of the Reverie' series, and I'm certainly looking forward to the next instalment. A great read for any sci-fi or fantasy fan, and there is even some romance in there too.
