My Little Luna is about a 17 year old girl facing many obstacles, growing up in foster care she didn't meet her maternal grandmother until she was 13 years of age. I loved reading this story! Seems like we all could relate to some part of Danica's story at one point or another in our life. Dealing with rejection thru life and the death of a loved one along with being pregnant is a strong feat anyone. I will definitely have my daughter read this story.Product details

This book was such a delight to read, so uplifting and riviting! The ending made me tear up! Great first novel!
The author takes you through the heartbreaking months of a young girl facing a new life, death of a loved one, rocky friendships and responsibilities of a younger brother.
Her pregnancy made her mature and at the end she chose the most selfless decision a young girl can make.
